Starting in the fall 2022 semester, the IMPACT Living-Learning Center and the LEAD Living-Learning Center will merge, forming the IMPACT & LEAD LLC in Allen and Dawson Halls. Meanwhile, South Russell Hall will convert to a first-year community.

“Baylor says it’s home, but it hasn’t been home for queer students,” Gonzalez said. “We’ve had to carve out spaces for ourselves, and because of that, when Baylor gives us a group like this, of course some people were apprehensive. But we want to say that we support PRISM; we can coexist and have numbers in both.”

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election.
