The Spiritual Wellbeing Task Force was created during the 2022-2023 school year, eventually compiling more than 50 recommendations for President Linda Livingstone. According to Dr. Charles Ramsey, associate chaplain and member of the task force, it utilized surveys, questionnaires and discussion about how to put the needs of Baylor’s employees first.

Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management, Marketing and Recruitment Ross VanDyke said the exclusion of alumni or admissions in the title of the building is intentional. VanDyke said the building is meant to be a place for everyone in the community.

With the help of physical therapy staff, Livingstone said she feels even better than she did before the surgery. After only eight weeks of recovery, she said it will only continue to get better.
