Students once had to wait up to a week or more to receive their first appointment at the Baylor Counseling Center. As of January, the Counseling Center, located in the McLane Student Life Center, has begun offering a walk-in clinic for initial assessments Mondays through Thursdays.

Scams are on the rise, and Baylor Information Technology Services are working to stop phishing scammers from finding their way into the hearts and hardware of Baylor students, faculty and staff.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
