“We started to look around and the faculty came up with the idea” Carter said. Baylor will expand its graduate offerings with two new master’s degrees.
“It’s definitely an ‘it-takes-a-village’ mentality in pulling off these scholarships,” Beaudry said. “We really couldn’t do what we do without our many campus partners, individuals and organizations who support our work and make sure the right students find the right door to our office.”
Alongside continuing to supply students with fresh food and basic products, The Store will add to its selection of special diet foods, implement an online shopping system and begin a marketing campaign to encourage students to donate to The Store through donated money, food items or meal swipes.
Tapestry of Care, a new $1.76 million initiative, aims to bridge the gap between faith communities and mental health support, helping churches better address crises and connect congregations with vital resources.
