“As Baylor Lawyers, we have a professional obligation to serve those who cannot afford counsel,” Josh Borderud, director of clinical and pro bono programs and clinical lecturer, said. “Serving veterans, first responders, and children through our clinics is one of the ways that we give back to the Waco community.”
“For me, it was life-changing,” Baylor basketball head coach Scott Drew said. “The more you’re in line with [Christ], the more He can bless you.”
“There is a whole lot of carbon that gets stored in the bays — for example, the Galveston and Corpus Christi bays,” Fulton said. “One of the questions we have is if sea level is rising — and it is rising pretty fast — how will that change the way carbon gets stored in these coastal bays?”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
