For certain periods of my childhood, UGGs went out of style. But as someone who continued to wear them until they fell apart, I believe they never truly went out of style — the trend just slowed down. Many people will try to deem UGGs “cheugy,” but celebrities and many others still wear the notable shoe.

Our faith is an opportunity to transcend this world and get a glimpse of the heavenly banquet that awaits us. But to make use of this opportunity, we must quiet ourselves in peaceful contemplation. We must remember that Christians have been practicing for over 2,000 years, and that many traditional hymns are rooted in this rich, longstanding history. We must abandon contemporary frivolities that disrupt sacred celebrations.

The tale of a college kid getting a pet on a whim is as old as time. Sometimes, that decision results in a happy pet/owner relationship. But far too often, a college student gets a dog without considering the commitment and responsibility that comes behind it, and the dog suffers the consequential judgment and resentment from home visitors or roommates.

Engineers are not antisocial. Most of us just go through so much pain and stress there is no point in speaking to people if there is no need to.
