No matter how well or poorly things may be going with school or a job, it’s OK to put some responsibilities aside to treat yourself. The work will be there tomorrow. Your health and happiness are more important than any assignment could be.
Not only is this early game another in a continuing trend, but the 11 a.m. start time has also pushed the start time of the homecoming parade up by an hour. While there is enough time between the end of the parade and the start of the game, there is still a considerable overlap when it comes to tailgate time.
I am the Ebenezer Scrooge of Baylor homecoming. Maybe my cold, non-southern heart will warm up to the idea of homecoming when I’m a senior next year and I realize it’s my last one.
