A new set of statues will be erected on campus honoring the university’s first Black graduates. The commission also recommended keeping the Judge Baylor statue in place and moving the Rufus Burleson statue to a less prominent place on campus.
Entering its third year, BSM is excited to have FM72 in-person this spring for students and faculty. Keeping in mind Covid-19 guidelines, BSM has plans to follow all protocols as well as bring students together.

Lilia Gonzalez, director of nurses, said Health Services would remain available to monitor potential measles outbreaks and help students. Though the Texas measles outbreak has ended, Health Services continues providing preventative measures for other potential outbreaks.
