The Baylor Bears suffered their second consecutive loss at the hands of the Missouri Tigers, 88-89. This was the Bears’ first home loss of the season, which puts them at 17-2 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 play.
“The fastest 40 minutes in basketball.” That used to be the slogan for Missouri’s No. 5 basketball team.
For a while, it seemed like Baylor athletic teams could not lose. On the road in one of college basketball’s most difficult venues for visitors, though, the Baylor men finally fell to the Kansas Jayhawks.

His senior season was lost due to an ACL tear in early December. Though these storm clouds loomed about him, Miller found the perspective needed to rise above.

As a No. 1 seed for the first time in program history, the Lady Bears will enjoy the comfort of playing the first round of the NCAA Tournament in the friendly confines of the Ferrell Center at 6:40 p.m. Sunday when they take on Prairie View A&M.
While nobody at the Ferrell Center was surprised on Monday, the Lady Bears’ basketball team still joined those in attendance in a burst of celebration upon seeing Baylor’s No. 1 seed for this year’s NCAA tournament announced on ESPN.
