Baylor men’s basketball will conclude its regular season against Iowa State at 7 p.m. Saturday in Ames, Iowa. The Bears are currently one game ahead of the Cyclones in the Big 12 standings.
I don’t know what’s harder to believe- the fact that Quincy Acy, Anthony Jones and Fred Ellis will never play another game for Baylor at the Ferrell Center, or the fact that I will never watch another men’s basketball game there as a student.

Junior Brittney Griner became the first NCAA Division I women’s basketball player to eclipse 2,000 points and 500 blocks in a career as the No. 1 Lady Bears beat Kansas State on Saturday in Manhattan, Kan. Griner had 29 points in the victory.
Brittney Griner scored 27 points with eight rebounds and eight blocked shots to help top-ranked Baylor remain undefeated with another lopsided victory over Oklahoma, 81-54, on Monday night.
Baylor coach Kim Mulkey has no idea how to stop Brittney Griner. Fortunately for Mulkey, she doesn’t have to come up with a scheme to stop the talented forward.
The No. 1 Lady Bears are undefeated this season, beating their opponents by an average of 30 points.
