A lecture by Daniel Peppe, assistant professor of geology, called “The Ape in the Trees” will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at the Mayborn Museum. The lecture will cover how scientists use plant and animal fossils and information from rocks to reconstruct the climate and landscape of eastern Africa more than 20 million years ago.
