Being the first gent of Baylor is no ordinary opportunity. For Brad Livingstone, every day is a new chance to bring light into the world alongside his wife, Baylor President Linda Livingstone. From the basketball court to the Allbritton House, Livingstone has lived a multidimensional life as a basketball lover, a “Beatles freak” and a devoted husband.

A few days ago, while eating lunch in the sub, I heard “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles, and I was immediately taken back to my childhood.
Thursday morning started off like every other Thursday morning — nothing new, nothing special. I walked into my Art History class 15 minutes early, like always. Then my professor began to play music, like always.
Two former Baylor students were among the big winners at the 2012 Austin Music Awards.
I looked for things like choreography, song choice, vocal talent, overall execution and story development. I gave extra considerations to acts that were particularly entertaining, or creative, and how well each act developed the story within their performance. Please keep in mind that this is all just one man’s opinion.
