Baylor’s men’s and women’s golf teams both found success over the Easter weekend.
Baylor women’s golf team won its second straight tournament Wednesday at the Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, N.M., and senior Jaclyn Jansen tied for the individual title and her second career victory.
Women’s golf won the Dick McGuire Invitational by four strokes this past weekend in Albuquerque, N.M.
Baylor fans have plenty to follow this weekend as several teams are in action: men’s tennis will be home Friday, Saturday and Sunday for their season opener in the HEB Invitational, women’s cross country competes Friday at the Toledo Inter-Regional Bubble Buster meet in Toledo, Ohio, and on Sunday and Monday, women’s golf will be at the Dick Maguire Invitational tournament in Albuquerque, N.M.
The rays of light in the Sunshine State seemed to be missing the Baylor Lady Bears. Tuesday the women’s golf team finished 14th out of 15 in the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. This came on the heels of finishing 11th of 17 last week in the UCF Invitational in Sorrento, Fla.

Coming off one of the worst winters in her 17 seasons at Baylor, she told her team it was imperative to have mental toughness going into the season and stay the course.
