Baylor should expect to experience a blast from the past.
The Baylor Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Friday Night Flashback from 6 to 10 p.m. today and Saturday in the Bill Daniel Student Center.
The event will combine the past with the present, The Friday Night Flashback coordinator for Homecoming 2012 Emily Smith said.
Friday marks Vietnamese Student Association’s 20th annual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. The festival is held to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon or Tet Trung Thu, as it is referred to by most Vietnamese people.
The VSA will work with the department of Multicultural Affairs to host the event, which will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.

The 2008 film “Taken” will be shown at 7 p.m. today in the Bill Daniel Student Center Den. Following the film, Baylor’s International Justice Mission chapter leaders will facilitate a discussion about sex-trade myths presented in the film.
Voting for the freshman student government elections will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Baylor will have the honor of welcoming Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to campus as a guest for President Ken Starr’s OnTopic lecture series next week.
Texas Secretary of State Esperanza “Hope” Andrade will be on campus today to speak about her voting initiative, “Make Your Mark on Texas.”
The Baylor University Libraries plan to conclude their Celebration of Texas event with a grand — or rather, giant — event at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Bill Daniel Student Center Den.
