Heisman Trophy winner and junior quarterback Robert Griffin III is set to make an announcement at 3 p.m. regarding whether or not he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2012 NFL Draft.

Reports from ESPN and the Associated Press have reported sources telling them that Griffin will go pro and is currently searching for an agent, though no official word has been said by Griffin or any Baylor official as to his final decision.

Griffin finished this season with 4,293 passing yards and 37 touchdowns, making him the first Baylor quarterback to ever pass for more than 4,000 yards in a season. He also had 699 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.

If Griffin were to enter the NFL draft, he would leave Baylor as the school’s record-holder in single-game, single-season, and career passing yards, and he would have the most wins for a Baylor starting quarterback in history. Griffin led the Bears to 10 wins this season.

Griffin’s press conference will be streamed live on Baylorbears.com.
